RideStrong

After Deb’s “opportunity”, she was gifted some therapy riding lessons at
Equest Therapeutic Horsemanship in Wylie Texas. Having never ridden a
horse before, Deb is now ranked among the top in the Country. She has
many ParaEquestrian National titles.
Deb’s coach at Equest, Gail Pace, always reminds Deb that it is the “journey
and not the destination” and that is how Deb continues to live her life.
After her life (as she knew it) changed in less than a second when she was broadsided by another vehicle, she encourages everyone she meets to
RideStrong through their journey of life. She has learned that life is tough but
she is tougher – turning her near fatal and tragic situation into an “opportunity.”
Deb spends a lot of her time volunteering at Equest and other non-profit organizations and has been featured in many magazines and newspaper articles, nationwide. Upon request, articles are available in .pdf format.

Deb and Tammy had these blue rubber silicone "RideStrong" bracelets manufactured to raise public awareness about the benefits of equine assisted therapy. They sell them and donate the money to Equest for the therapy horses. No matter what we do each and every day, whether we ride horses or not, these bracelets remind us to RideStrong through life's journey.
